About the organisation
BACKSLASH is a youth and civil society organisation based in Valencia, Spain. It empowers young people, particularly those with fewer opportunities, and strengthens the capacity of youth workers, educators, civil society organisations and public institutions through non-formal education, participatory methodologies and European cooperation.
The organisation develops and implements local and international initiatives addressing social inclusion, democratic participation, human rights, emotional wellbeing, digital transformation, critical thinking, sustainability and intercultural learning. Its work combines direct activities with young people, professional training, applied research, methodological development, evaluation and policy dialogue.
BACKSLASH has extensive experience in Erasmus+ and other European programmes, working with partners across Europe and beyond. It contributes to projects through project architecture and management, training, research, quality assurance, impact assessment and the development of practical resources such as toolkits, competence frameworks, training programmes and open educational materials.
