This guide and toolkit, developed in collaboration with UNESCO, CHAI, and Al‑Awn Foundation for Development, provides practical strategies to foster happiness, well‑being, and social‑emotional learning in Yemeni schools. It adapts UNESCO’s Global Happy Schools Framework (2024) to the Yemeni context, addressing challenges of conflict, displacement, and weak infrastructure. The resource supports policymakers, school leaders, teachers, and parents in creating safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environments. It includes 25 classroom lessons, models for evaluating school happiness, and tools for reducing dropout, supporting teacher well‑being, and strengthening resilience in the education system.
