Kindness counts, it starts with you!

An Erasmus+ project for 43 participants on recognising, preventing and responding to cyberbullying. Through digital literacy games, role-play, content creation and creative writing, young people build the skills to stay safe online and to help others do the same.

Why this project
Cyberbullying affects young people across Europe, but many lack the knowledge to recognise it, the confidence to intervene and the skills to manage it safely.

Objectives
Raise awareness of cyberbullying, its effects and how to prevent it. Build digital literacy, critical thinking and online safety skills. Enable young people to recognise and manage cyberbullying situations safely. Create a network of young people and organisations addressing online harm.

Activities
Interactive games and simulations building digital literacy and critical thinking. Role-play exercises on experiencing and witnessing cyberbullying. Digital content creation: video, podcast, photography and videography workshops. Workshops on digital privacy and security, and creative writing sessions.

Expected results
These are the results the project set out to produce. They are commitments made in the application, not outcomes already achieved. 43 young people with a deeper understanding of cyberbullying and its effects. A project blog and booklet created by participants. Online dissemination extending the reach beyond the exchange. New partnerships between participating organisations.

Who it is for
Young people from the six participating countries, including 24 participants with fewer opportunities.
