Coordinated by APPJuventude with youth work organisations from seven countries. Produced comparative research on training and recognition, and the TOP Youth Workers training model.
The Future of Youth Work'ers brought together youth work organisations from seven European countries to strengthen professional development and the recognition of youth work. APPJuventude coordinated the partnership.
The project produced a mapping of youth worker training practices, a comparative study of qualification pathways, and TOP Youth Workers, a modular training model informed by this research. The resources support youth workers, trainers, associations and local authorities interested in adapting training to their context.
The cooperation connected professional practice, research and youth policy, with attention to non-formal education, quality, inclusion and professional recognition.
