About the organisation

SOLUTION : Solidarité & Inclusion is a Paris-based NGO promoting social cohesion and equal opportunities through non-formal education. Our mission is to create inclusive learning environments where migrants, seniors, women, young students and other vulnerable groups can gain new skills, strengthen their autonomy, and participate fully in society.
Operating in the multicultural context of the 20th district of Paris, SOLUTION designs activities that respond directly to the needs of people who face barriers to education, employment, and civic participation. Many of our learners have limited access to institutional support; our association provides a welcoming, accessible space in which they can learn, connect, and regain confidence.

Every week, our premises host a wide range of inclusive educational and social activities that have a direct and positive impact on the vulnerable groups of our area, including:
- French language classes for migrants, helping newcomers acquire essential linguistic, social and cultural skills for daily life in France, as well as preparing them to integrate the labour market.
- Language and conversation groups for older adults, reducing isolation while enhancing cognitive stimulation, mobility and social participation.
- Homework support sessions for primary school children and educational workshops for high school students.
- The “Café des femmes” for migrant women, a safe, supportive space where participants develop language, digital, social and empowerment skills while building confidence and solidarity.
- Administrative support sessions for migrants and seniors, where participants receive personalised assistance in navigating increasingly digital public services (health insurance, prefecture procedures, mobility applications, etc.).
