About the organisation

Fundación FAUTAPO is a Bolivian nonprofit organisation with more than 20 years of experience promoting inclusive education, technical and vocational training, employability, entrepreneurship and sustainable socio-economic development.

FAUTAPO designs and implements programmes that connect skills development with real opportunities for employment, self-employment, entrepreneurship and productive development. Its intervention model combines competency-based technical training, personal and entrepreneurial skills, innovation and technology, strengthening of productive initiatives, access to markets and multi-stakeholder cooperation.

The organisation has extensive experience working with young people, women, rural communities, producers, entrepreneurs and populations facing barriers to education and economic opportunities. Its programmes integrate inclusion, gender equality, youth empowerment, digital skills, sustainable production and environmental resilience.

FAUTAPO works in partnership with national and subnational public institutions, universities, training centres, private companies, civil society organisations, producer associations and international cooperation agencies. Through more than 150 projects, the organisation has reached over 120,000 beneficiaries across Bolivia.

FAUTAPO is particularly interested in international cooperation, knowledge exchange and joint projects on inclusive VET, youth employability, entrepreneurship, digital transformation, green skills, social inclusion and innovative approaches that connect training with sustainable economic opportunities.
