About the organisation

CPDIS is a non-governmental, non-profit organisation based in Romania, dedicated to empowering young people, strengthening youth work, and supporting inclusive community development through non-formal education, international cooperation, and social innovation. With more than 14 years of experience in European-funded programmes, CPDIS has successfully coordinated and partnered in over 40 Erasmus+ Youth projects, while also implementing initiatives funded through Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnerships (KA2), Erasmus+ Sport, CERV (Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values), European Youth Together (EYT), and EEA & Norway Grants. Our organisation has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality educational projects that generate tangible impact at local, national, and European levels. Our mission is to create learning opportunities that enable young people to become active citizens, develop key competences, and contribute positively to their communities. We work closely with youth workers, educators, public institutions, schools, universities, municipalities, and civil society organisations to design innovative educational experiences based on participation, inclusion, creativity, and experiential learning. CPDIS's areas of expertise include youth participation, active citizenship, democracy education, digital transformation, media and information literacy, entrepreneurship, employability, environmental sustainability, intercultural dialogue, inclusion and diversity, mental wellbeing, outdoor education, and the recognition of youth work. The organisation places a strong emphasis on supporting young people with fewer opportunities, ensuring equal access to international mobility and lifelong learning. Through our extensive local network, we collaborate with more than 500 young people from high schools and universities, providing them with opportunities to engage in Erasmus+ activities, volunteering, civic initiatives, and capacity-building programmes
