Seeds is a Jordanian non-profit civil society organisation established in 2008, building on a youth initiative active since 2003.
The organisation works to expand the ability of young people, women and rural communities to participate in decisions, access opportunities and manage land and natural resources sustainably. Its approach combines community action, applied research, policy engagement and international cooperation.

Core areas of work
Youth participation, non-formal education, entrepreneurship, volunteering, intercultural dialogue, human rights and democratic citizenship.
Land governance, women's land rights, youth access to land, pastoral mobility, rangeland governance and community-based Hima management.
Climate adaptation, environmental sustainability, water efficiency, sustainable agriculture, food systems and resilient rural livelihoods.
Community inclusion, with particular attention to women, young people, pastoralists, refugees and underserved communities in Jordan's Badia and rural areas.
Seeds is governed by a youth-led, gender-balanced Board and is managed through an Executive Director and specialised functions for programmes, finance and compliance, partnerships, research, and monitoring, evaluation and learning. The organisation applies conflict-of-interest, safeguarding, anti-corruption, complaints, risk-management and financial-authorisation controls.
Since 2024, Seeds has hosted and coordinated the National Land Coalition-Jordan, the first national land coalition in the Arab region. The coalition brings together 18 civil society, research, governmental and international stakeholders. Seeds also operates a Research Unit focused on land, climate and evidence-informed policy, while retaining full institutional and financial responsibility for hosted platforms and projects.
