Corporación Tecnológica de Andalucía (CTA) is a private non-profit foundation dedicated to fostering innovation, competitiveness and sustainable growth through collaborative research, development and innovation (R&D&I). Since its creation, CTA has acted as a strategic intermediary between companies, public administrations, universities, research centres and innovation ecosystems, facilitating the development and deployment of innovative solutions with economic and societal impact.
CTA supports organisations throughout the entire innovation cycle, from the identification of technological opportunities and strategic planning to project design, funding acquisition, implementation and exploitation of results. The foundation provides expertise in innovation management, technology transfer, open innovation, public procurement of innovation, entrepreneurship support and internationalisation.
At European level, CTA actively participates in Horizon Europe and other international programmes, both as project partner and coordinator. Through its international activities and its presence in Brussels, CTA connects Andalusian and Spanish organisations with leading European stakeholders, enabling access to strategic networks, collaborative partnerships and emerging innovation opportunities.
CTA works across a wide range of sectors, including bioeconomy, energy and environment, digital technologies, advanced manufacturing, circular economy, construction and sustainable cities, aerospace, biotechnology, agriculture and blue economy. By promoting cross-sector collaboration and knowledge exchange, CTA contributes to accelerating the uptake of innovative technologies and strengthening regional and European innovation ecosystems.
