What we do here
It is easy to design something for a community and call it participation. The Participation group does the harder thing: it involves people as co-authors, through participatory methods, community-based work and youth-led activities where the participants shape what happens.
We build methods that make participation practical for organisations, and we run activities, including youth-led events, where young people lead rather than attend.
The group also carries frontline experience into policy. By joining consultations and thematic networks on education, employment, inclusion and participation, it helps the realities practitioners see reach the people who make decisions.
