Training
Training is about the way learning is designed and delivered, and about supporting the people who deliver it.
Training is about the way learning is designed and delivered, and about supporting the people who deliver it.
What we do here
Educators, trainers, youth workers and community practitioners carry most of the weight in non-formal education, and they often work with little support. The Training group builds methods, courses and toolkits they can pick up and use, and runs exchanges where they learn from each other.
We design training activities, learning exchanges and methodological resources, then test them in real settings before sharing them. The aim is material that works on a Monday morning with a real group, not only on paper.
Peer learning sits at the centre of the group. When a practitioner in one country solves a problem, the network helps the solution travel to others who face the same thing.
What this strategic group produces
- Capacity-building courses and training modules
- Peer learning and professional exchanges for practitioners
- Methodological toolkits for non-formal education
Who this is for
- Trainers and youth workers who want tested methods
- Organisations building the skills of their own educators
