À propos de l'organisation

NextGen Europa e.V. was established in 2025 by a group of experienced youth workers and project coordinators who have been actively involved in Erasmus+ youth exchanges, training courses and international cooperation for many years. Before founding the organisation, the team worked on different European projects focused on democracy, participation, inclusion and learning through non-formal education. Through this long-term experience, we realised the need to create a new organisation that builds on existing knowledge and networks, while responding to the current challenges young people are facing across Europe. The organisation works mainly with young people, including those with fewer opportunities and from marginalised backgrounds. In previous Erasmus+ projects, our team supported young people facing social, economic and educational barriers by using inclusive methods, peer learning, small-group work and flexible facilitation approaches. This experience helped us understand how to create safe learning environments where all participants feel respected, included and motivated to take part. Our main areas of experience and focus are: • Democracy and youth participation, through workshops, simulations and discussions that help young people understand decision-making processes and their role as active citizens • Media literacy, supporting young people to think critically about media content, recognise misinformation and reflect on their online behaviour • European awareness, by promoting European values, intercultural dialogue and understanding of the EU and its opportunities for young people • EU Youth Goals, by encouraging participation, inclusion, active citizenship and social engagement at local and European level • Digital tools, used for creative expression, learning, communication and youth-led initiatives • Inclusion of marginalised young people, by adapting activities and methods to ensure equal access and meaningful participation
