À propos de l'organisation

The Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (iED) is a Greek non-profit organisation founded in 2005, with a strong focus on entrepreneurship, innovation, sustainable development and the implementation of European-funded initiatives. iED supports organisations, SMEs, startups, public authorities, researchers and communities in transforming ideas, research results and emerging technologies into practical and scalable solutions.

Its activities span business innovation and entrepreneurship, digital and industrial technologies, health and wellbeing, green energy and sustainability, social innovation and inclusion, education and training, and culture and creativity. iED combines strategic planning with hands-on implementation, contributing across the full project lifecycle: proposal development, project management, stakeholder engagement, training and capacity building, pilot coordination, communication and dissemination, exploitation, sustainability, market uptake and impact assessment.

The organisation also provides innovation management and go-to-market support, including business modelling, value proposition development, market validation, exploitation planning, technology uptake, funding guidance and support for startups and SMEs. Through Living Lab approaches and ecosystem coordination, iED facilitates co-creation, user engagement, testing and validation in real-world environments.

iED has an international footprint extending to Cyprus and Estonia and works through a broad European network of partners, innovation hubs, universities, public bodies, companies and civil society organisations. It participates in programmes such as Horizon Europe, Erasmus+, Interreg and Digital Europe, and coordinates the Health Hub European Digital Innovation Hub. Through its collaboration with JOIST Innovation Park, iED further strengthens its capacity in training, innovation support, prototyping, ecosystem activation and market-oriented exploitation.
