About the organisation
DOKU Youthspace is a non-governmental youth organization based in North Macedonia, dedicated to empowering young people through non-formal education, youth participation, intercultural dialogue, and social inclusion. We work with young people aged 16–30, especially those from diverse cultural, social, and geographical backgrounds, creating opportunities for learning, personal development, and active engagement in society. Our activities include Erasmus+ youth exchanges, training courses, workshops, seminars, volunteering initiatives, cultural events, community campaigns, and digital learning activities. Through these initiatives, we promote democratic participation, human rights, equality, environmental sustainability, entrepreneurship, digital skills, and intercultural understanding. We believe that young people are key drivers of positive social change. Therefore, we create safe and inclusive spaces where they can develop leadership, communication, teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking while building international friendships and partnerships. DOKU Youthspace actively collaborates with local authorities, schools, universities, civil society organizations, and international partners to develop high-quality projects that strengthen communities and increase opportunities for young people across Europe and beyond.
