TOP Youth Workers is a modular training programme developed through The Future of Youth Work'ers, an Erasmus+ cooperation partnership coordinated by APPJuventude with youth work organisations from seven European countries.
The English-language guide is intended for youth workers, trainers, youth organisations and municipal teams. It covers professional identity and ethics, youth policy and local governance, project design, participation and inclusion, digital competences, and professional recognition. It includes delivery formats, implementation guidance and practical tools that can be adapted to local training needs.
The programme draws on comparative research into youth worker training and qualification pathways. It offers a basis for professional development and cooperation between organisations; it does not confer a national professional qualification.
