The Association for Community Awareness (ASCOA) is a charitable non-profit organization headquartered in Cameroon, West Africa, with additional offices in the USA, UK, and Kenya. ASCOA is dedicated to improving the quality of life for underserved communities while promoting sustainable development across Africa and beyond. Its mission encompasses addressing pressing global challenges through innovative and impactful initiatives.
ASCOA’s efforts are diverse, ranging from environmental protection—focusing on reducing plastic pollution and marine litter—to raising awareness about HIV/AIDS and combating stigma. The organization is deeply committed to empowering women, supporting children, fostering peacebuilding efforts, and providing care for displaced populations. Each of these initiatives reflects ASCOA’s holistic approach to tackling social and environmental issues.
Collaborating with international and African partner organizations, ASCOA emphasizes community outreach and education as a means to create sustainable local communities.
